Huey, Dewey and Louie
Check out the list of new "acceptable" designations that have been endorsed (by a large mainline denomination) to describe our Triune God:
I thought there was something in the ten commandments about not taking the name of the Lord in vain? While some of these border on theological accuracy, others border on outright lunacy. They mix metaphors and give a confusing notion of God at best, and are completely heretical at worst.
But here's the good news:
The same assembly also endorsed the use of medical marijuana and the ordination of homosexuals living openly with same-sex partners, but struggled to muster support to condemn suicide bombings (the resolution did eventually pass).
