Portmanteau is the new black
We are pausing for station identification.
Nothing on Leonardo today, but for your weekend homework, please look up the words chiaroscuro and sfumato.
Also, no Top Ten or Bad Poetry to be had today.
Instead, I just had to poke around pop culture a bit with two questions:
"Gay cowboys are now the new penguins." USA Today, 01/25/2006
"The Splendiferous Zeppelin Escapades of Filliam H. Muffman" The Colbert Report, 02/09/2006
When are they going to stop (1) proclaiming that "_____ is the new _____" and (2) morphing celebrity couple's names together like "Bennifer" and "Brangelina"?
OK, now that I've got that off my chest, I can get back to work.
