Ah, the salad days
Speaking of Shakespeare, have you ever wondered where we got the term "salad days" and what it means? The bard coined the phrase in the early 17th century, in the speech at the end of Act One of Antony and Cleopatra, where Cleopatra laments her dalliances with Julius Caesar: "My salad days, When I was green in judgment." Thus, the phrase came to mean "a time of youthful inexperience, innocence, or indiscretion."
Speaking of youthful indiscretions, did you see that Joel Osteen's wife got his family kicked off a flight for causing a disturbance? Maybe the stewardess was not offering her the best life NOW.
